Unveiled in September 1975, the Tyrrell P34 caused a stir - no surprise, given that it was the very first Formula One car with six wheels! Its unique design incorporated four front wheels in an effort to decrease air resistance and enhance the car's braking and steering. After several trial runs and design updates, the P34 made its debut with Patrick Depailler at the Spanish Grand Prix in May 1976. The following month, at the Swedish Grand Prix, Jody Scheckter led a fantastic 1-2 victory for the P34, showcasing the car's immense potential and helping Tyrrell secure 3rd place in the Constructors' standings that year.
