When the P-47 Thunderbolt first arrived in the European theater of World War II, its rotund fuselage quickly earned it the nickname "The Jug" – but it wasn't long until that became short for "Juggernaut." Built like a flying tank, it packed the wallop of eight .50 caliber machine guns and could carry enough bombs plus rockets to wipe a ground target clean off the map. The E-flite^®P-47 Razorback 1.2m has been updated and upgraded to be the Smartest and easiest-to-fly scale model of the popular P-47 yet! The airframe is finished in a scheme based on a P-47 that flew with the 510th Squadron, 405th Fighter Group during World War II, and it features a variety of scale details, including molded-in panel lines, an optional-use drop tank and armament, a four-blade propeller and more. Plus, its functional flaps and retractable landing gear add to the scale flying experience. The 3S and 4S compatible power system includes an upgraded 70A Spektrum^™Avian^™Smart Lite ESC, and the BNF^®Basic version is equipped with an AR631 receiver to deliver real-time telemetry data along with AS3X^®and optional-use SAFE^®Select technologies. No glue is required for final assembly, so you can have it ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge a battery, plus it's conveniently sized for storage and transport without disassembly – or the one-piece wing is easy to remove/install for even easier transport and storage.
