The T-34-85 was an improved version of the reliable T-34-76 that faced challenges against formidable German enemies such as the Tiger I and Panther. It boasted better durability and maneuverability, along with a bigger, more heavily-armored turret equipped with an 85mm long barrel gun. Over 25,000 units were built between 1944 and 1946, playing a significant role in the Red Army's successful push towards the end of the war.
