About the Toyota Celica LB Turbo Gr.5: This legendary Group 5 race car was developed for the 1977 DRM (German Racing Championship). Built on the road-going Celica Liftback platform, it featured an extensively modified body with aerodynamic enhancements, FRP body panels, and a turbocharged 2,090cc inline-4 DOHC engine producing 560hp. The car debuted in July 1977 and achieved its maiden victory by defeating the Porsche 935 that October.
